Rapha Pro Team Lightweight Cargo Bib Tight

The Rapha Pro Team Lightweight Cargo men’s bib tight is designed for serious training in cool conditions. The lightweight fabric, made from 79% nylon and 21% elastane, blocks the wind chill without the weight and bulk of thermal legwear. The two external leg pockets are new for 2026 and give you easy access to nutrition and accessories while training, without having to reach into your back pockets.

The Pro Team chamois is the same as that found in the Pro Team Cargo bib short, with single-density perforated foam and a perforated top sheet that wicks moisture away quickly. This padding is designed for high-intensity, forward-leaning cycling and long training rides. The elasticated bib straps with the Rapha logo fit snugly without being too tight, and keep the chamois in the right place at all times.

Pro Team chamois

The Pro Team seat pad consists of a single layer of perforated foam that provides even support without any hard transitions. The perforated top sheet quickly wicks moisture away from the skin, keeping you dry while cycling. This is the same chamois as the one used in the Rapha Pro Team Cargo bib short, and the best chamois Rapha makes for men.

Lightweight nylon-elastane fabric

The fabric is 79% nylon and 21% elastane. While nylon is strong, lightweight and durable, the 21% elastane ensures the fabric moves with you in any cycling position without feeling tight. The fabric is lightweight enough to breathe during high-intensity exertion, yet dense enough to keep out the wind chill at temperatures between 10°C and 20°C.

Two leg pockets

On the sides of the upper thighs there are two pockets that you can access without changing position. They are designed to hold nutrition and small items during training, but are not zipped and, therefore, not suitable for storage of your valuables in the rain or at high speeds.

Ideal for:

• Temperatures of 10°C to 20°C – cool mornings and rides in spring and autumn where you want tights that are windproof but without the bulk of thermal tights.
• Cyclists who want lightweight bib tights with a top-quality chamois for high-intensity workouts.
• Cyclists who want tights with a cargo design and easy access to their nutrition while riding.

Not suitable for:

• Temperatures below 10°C – in such conditions, the lightweight fabric without a warm lining will not keep your legs warm enoughand you should wear thermal bib tights.
• Leisurely rides or and upright cycling position – the Pro Team chamois is designed for riding in a forward-leaning position during high-intensity effort; for relaxed rides, a wider, thicker chamois will be more comfortable.
• Rides where you want to carry valuables in the pockets – the leg pockets on these cargo tights are open and not water-resistant.

Not sure about the size? Here’s how to check:

Measure your hip circumference at the widest point and your waist circumference at the narrowest point. Select your size in the order box based on these measurements. The Pro Team fit is tight and close-fitting; if you are between two sizes, choose the larger one for greater freedom of movement and chamois comfort.

How to keep your Pro Team Lightweight Cargo bib tight in good condition

1. Wash at 30°C: Wash the bib tight on a cold to lukewarm cycle. Rapha recommends a washing temperature of 30°C.
2. Wash similar colours together: Do not mix with white or light-coloured garments.
3. Do not bleach or dry-clean: Both will damage the fabric and chamois.
4. Tumble-dry on the lowest setting: Rapha indicates that you may tumble-dry this jacket on the lowest setting. Always use the lowest setting.
5. Do not iron: The fabric and the logo cannot withstand the heat of a clothes iron.

• Take the bib tight off straight after your ride and wash as soon as possible. Sweat left in the chamois fabric will damage the quality of the padding and cause odours to develop.
• Check the leg pockets: Before washing the bib tight, check that there is nothing left in the pockets.
